Big, Small, Box and iBox explained
A Big bet wins on all 23 numbers in a draw: 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize, the ten Special numbers and the ten Consolation numbers. A Small bet pays more but only wins on the top three prizes.
A Box bet (also called a permutation or “full perm”) places your stake on every ordering of your digits. For 1234 that is 24 numbers, so RM1 Big costs RM24. Any ordering that wins pays in full.
An iBox (Magnum calls it mBox) also covers every ordering, but splits one stake between them. RM24 iBox on 1234 puts RM1 on each ordering; RM1 iBox puts about 4 sen on each, so a 1st-prize win pays about RM104 instead of RM2,500.
See every ordering of a number with the permutation calculator, or check whether it has won before with the number checker.
Questions
How much does 1st prize pay?
RM2,500 for every RM1 Big, or RM3,500 for every RM1 Small. RM1 Big plus RM1 Small on the winning number pays RM6,000.
Should I play Big or Small?
Big wins more often because it pays on all 23 numbers. Small pays more for the top three prizes but nothing for Special or Consolation. Every number has the same chance either way.
Is the 4D Jackpot included?
No. Jackpot games such as 4D Jackpot and Jackpot Gold have their own rules and shared pools, so this calculator covers the standard 4D game only.
Can I win more than one prize?
With a Box or iBox bet, different orderings can win different prizes in the same draw. The calculator shows what each prize pays; add the rows that apply to you.
