Getting started

Malaysia's Six 4D Operators: Magnum, Toto, Da Ma Cai, Sabah 88, STC and Cash Sweep

· 4 min read

Malaysia has six licensed 4D operators. Three cover Peninsular Malaysia and three cover East Malaysia. Each runs its own draw, so on every draw day there are six separate sets of results.

Peninsular Malaysia

  • Magnum 4D is one of the best-known operators. Alongside 4D it runs jackpot games whose pools grow until won. Its iBox-style bet is called mBox.
  • Sports Toto runs 4D plus 5D, 6D and several lotto-style jackpot games, all on the same results card.
  • Da Ma Cai follows the standard 4D format and also runs its own jackpot games.

Sabah and Sarawak

East Malaysian results are often harder to find online, so we keep them alongside the Peninsular results in one archive.

What they have in common

  • Draws on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 7pm, with occasional special draws.
  • 23 winning numbers per draw: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, ten Special and ten Consolation.
  • Big and Small bets, with similar prize tables.

A ticket only counts for its own operator

A Magnum ticket is checked only against Magnum's results. If your number comes up at Da Ma Cai, it doesn't win on a Magnum ticket. Always compare your ticket with the operator printed on it.

Quick answers

How many 4D operators are there in Malaysia?

Six: Magnum 4D, Sports Toto and Da Ma Cai in Peninsular Malaysia; Sabah Lotto 88 and Sandakan Turf Club in Sabah; and Special Cash Sweep in Sarawak.

Can a Magnum ticket win on Toto results?

No. Each ticket is only checked against the results of the operator that sold it.

Guides are general information, not advice. Rules and prize tables can differ between operators. Always check with the operator. 4D is for non-Muslims aged 21 and above.
